In het belang van de staat
The Kurdish poet Ibrahim Aziz, an alleged member of the Kurdish Marxist-Leninist Front, tries to get a residence permit as a political refugee, with the aid of his lawyer Wies, who works for a Law Shop. The Turkish government has however asked for his extradition on the ground that Aziz is said to have killed several Turkish officers. This is reason enough for the Dutch security service to investigate the case. Listening equipment, blackmail and threats drive Wies and Aziz further into a corner.
