Dubbel Straf (Double Punishment)
Documentary sketches a picture of everyday life in De Lindenhorst. This is an institution for girls who have got on the wrong side of the law or who are considered better off in a home for a while. The staff includes social workers and psychologists, but De Lindenhorst is not a therapeutic clinic, but a detention centre. All the girls experience the problems they have faced in their short lives as punishment. In De Lindenhorst they are being punished again. future. Jenne Sipman consciously avoids talking to experts in her film, but allows the voices to be heard of girls who are seldom heard.
